If you are looking for adventures, the American continent is perfect for you. You can really play it into the wild and the landscapes will blow your mind. If you want to see some of the most beautiful mountainous landscapes travel to Bolivia, Canada and Patagonia… these are our tops picks and you will not be disappointed! If you want to experience the real jungle go to the Amazon Forest in Peru… you will learn the meaning of a mosquito swarm but you will be amazed with the sound of the forest by night… it is quite an experience! Americas really has it all, from Hawaii to Argentina it is definetely the continent we prefer the most.

The American continent is home to a lot of different cultures and some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world! We really fell in love with the Bolivian Andes and the Atacama desert in Chile. If you don’t like crowded places it is great because you can really find yourself alone and have some of the sites just for you. We tasted some really good wine and meat in Argentina, in the Salta region, we went in the footsteps of the Incas in Peru and visited some amazing national parks in the US, altough it is less “off the beaten path” you can really find yourself … facing a bear in the middle of nowhere and the phone reception in very often more sketchy in these parks than in the Machu Picchu !

Best season in the Americas
This is a continent that stretches from the northern hemisphere to the southern so defining the best season is not an easy thing to do. For Northern America (USA and Canada) the best season should be somewhat the same as in Europe, therefore months between May and September should be the warmest with the lowest probabilities of rain. For Central America (Mexico, Costa Rica …) the dry season goes from December to April, as June to August can bring some heavy hurricanes. For Southern America, the optimal season for most countries would be between December and April as well.
Why Going to the Americas
It is the continent of diversity. You can kayak with Orcas in Canada, get “into the wild” in Alaska, or visit the world’s biggest supervolcano in Yellowstone National Park (US). Yes, the nature is very generous in this area but you can also visit some of the biggest cities like New York or go gambling in Las Vegas. You don’t go to America to find the finest food in the world but in terms of landscape it is almost unbeatable. The Andes in Bolivia are just breathtaking, the glaciers of Patagonia make you daydream and the Amazon Forest is so full of life…and dangers. For us, it is the wildest continent, the one with the most incredible landscape, especially if you love mountains! It is a paradise for nature lovers like us!
